Wondering how to get to Exuma?

The airport code for the Exuma International Airport is GGT. There are typically direct flights from the following airports:

• YYZ - Toronto, Canada

• ATL - Atlanta, USA

• MIA - Miami, USA

• FLL - Fort Lauderdale, USA

• NAS - Nassau, Bahamas

All of our properties have the same check-in and check-out time. Check-in is at 4:00PM and check-out is at 11:00am. Times are flexible on a case-by-case basis.

Yes, almost all of Exuma currently has LTE speeds. Most cell phone providers can extend your cell phone service to Exuma (and typically do automatically) for a small daily fee.

All homes are equipped with 25 mb/s internet speeds (which sometimes reaches 40mb/s unofficially) and are capable of supporting ‘work from home’ set ups. We are in the process of implementing Starlink systems across the homes to improve internet speeds. Please reach out to Will or Phil to determine if this will be available for your stay.

US dollars and Bahamian dollars can be used anywhere on the island interchangeably at a one:one exchange rate.

Very much so. Exuma has an extremely low crime rate and most of the residents on Exuma are quite friendly. You can learn a lot about the island by chatting with them.

Our homes are fully stocked with most items to enjoy your stay, but there are some items you wont want to forget:

• Bug Spray - Tiny bugs that the locals call “No See Ems” sometimes come out in the evenings (depending on the season), especially on calm nights with no wind.

• Sunscreen - Although you can buy this on the island, it tends to be quite expensive. The UV index tends to be very high in Exuma, you don’t want to be left without it!

• Water Shoes (for young children) - Although the sand on Exuma is very soft, gravel pathways, hot surfaces, or underwater features may bother little ones.

• Life Jackets (for young children) - Although some of our properties have a select amount of life jackets for adults and children, we cannot guarantee we have a jacket that will fit your young ones. Please pack appropriately sized life jackets.

Tracking the tides is important if you plan on kayaking through the sand flats or navigating boats through the sand bars of Exuma. We use an app called “Tide Charts Near Me” which can be downloaded at the following link:

Almost all our homes are equipped with generators (with a goal to have all homes equipped by end of 2022). If your home has a generator, it will automatically turn on in the event of a power outage. But in the odd case you are left without power, you can call Bahamas Power and Light (BPL) at (242) 336-2022 or (242) 336-2025 to get an estimate when service will resume.
